RADIO RIVERSIDE BURSARIES AWARDED….The call for unemployed out of school young people to apply for one of ten bursaries to study at Upington College was met by great enthusiasm and by end of business on Thursday 28 January 2010 the station had received 53 applications from just four days of advertising. The station shortlisted 20 applicants who where interviewed on Friday 29 January. The ten successful students registered on Monday 01 February to study in the fields of Financial Management, Engineering and Office Administration. The ten students are Marietha Katzee of Rosedale, Verolene Adams of Progress, Marchellous Beukes of Louisvale, Nandipha Lumkwana of Paballelo, Chantel Martin of Rosedale, Graig Katz of Paballelo, Mariette Van Vuuren of Kakamas, David Booysen of Progress, Jolin Jantjies of Flora Park and Judy Khumalo of Paballelo.
